Geek Video of the month

This month’s Geek Video chosen by Dan (Rocktime: Web Developer). Dan wishes to send Geek Cred to the Lego Antikythera Mechanism.

The machine, modelled after the ancient Greek original, can calculate the date and time of the solar and lunar eclipse over a hundred year period – and guess what it is made of LEGO.

The guy who built this amazingly geeky machine is Andrew Carol, who has passion for mechanical devices and Lego, so he put his two hobbies together and built a working version of the Antikythera Mechanism.
